Resin Dog Lamps By Manny

Hello my name is Manny and I would like too tell you a little back story on why I wanted to create these dog lamps. I hope you find this inspiring.

Before I ever poured resin, I had a best friend who couldn't talk back. Shadow was a golden retriever with eyes that understood everything.

Nine years we had together through three cities, shelters, borrowed cars, all the moving around. He was the only thing that stayed. When Shadow died, I was sixteen and didn't know how to say goodbye. So I started pouring resin. First one was just his silhouette, frozen in amber light. My hands shook the whole time. Now every lamp I make carries him and each dog is Shadow in a different moment, a different pose, a different way of saying what he meant.

People ask why I pour resin dogs. I tell them: some souls teach you what love looks like before you even know the word for it. Shadow taught me. These lamps are me trying to give that feeling to someone else, to freeze those perfect moments in light, to make sure nobody forgets what it feels like when someone loves you completely, no words needed.
